GC106 : Vintage Book from Plastic Packaging

I was delighted to see this month's Gingersnap Creations  Spicy Supply Challenge (GC106) was for packaging materials as I have been working on this vintage book from plastic packaging as one of my entries for the local SWRI bi-annual show in August.  I have been saving all my Sissix and Ranger packaging as the plastic is such good quality.  I cut lots of different shapes for the book and used one of the dual embossing folder packets for the folded cover.  I then had a fun time trying to fill it!  Fun as each page has to be thought through front and back before sticking anything down.

Thank you to Neil Walker for his great idea for the acetate flowers which just finished the front off nicely.  The photographs are not great as the plastic is so shiny and my camera skills somewhat basic!

As this is also for a recycled entry in the SWRI show I used:  recycled plastic packaging, paper from an old book and cardstock from my scrap box.
