Grungy Monday 23 : Tim in Ten

I have just about made this week's Grungy Monday Challenge!   It has been pretty hectic since getting back from my week in Rome, but Rome was FANTASTIC! and so was the food - a diet is looming ............

So what were the rules for this week's GM Challenge:  make a greeting card, using at least one Tim Holtz product and make that card in 10 minutes or less.  Wow - there are some wonderful examples on the site at Studio L3 - do check them out!

I have to admit to loving this resist technique and this stamp and painting it quickly with distress inks.  So, yes I am cheating a bit in that  I have done this before, but not against the clock! I used Broken China, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutter distress inks, blending them with small pieces of blending foam.  Check out the Tim Holtz blog for more ideas with distress inks here.

I just got the card made before the buzzer went off but my layering is a bit wonky!  Thank you Linda for another great challenge

Lovely card here Jennie. I too have used a technique from one of the GM Challenges but I loved it when I did it so why not do it again?
I was in Rome this year in February. Beautiful city and would love to go back.
