1950s Chic

The second week of our Challenge at Crafts Too Challenge You and this time I have gone to the 1950s.

These wonderful Marianne Design Papers have some lovely images which if you are my age you will remember well (well I remember my mother wearing a dress like this - I was still in gingham!)

I used the bottom of one of the sheets and one of the stickers to create my card.  A very quick and simple card  - I just added some ribbon, a button and some gems on the pattern.

Click the link HERE to see the rest of the DT inspirational pieces for this week and I hope you feel inspired to join us.

Still sailing ..........

I love how you have used these gorgeous images Jennie, such a pretty card and full of 50s memories for me too.
I was thinking about you this week and hope you are getting some of the glorious sun shine we've been having.
Have a great weekend.

Love the vintage 50s feel of this, and yep, I remember dresses like this... Love how even the papers and the colours really suit the period, a great card!

Hope your trip is going well and you have a chance to enjoy the lovely sunshine!...
