Orange - for a change .............

The challenge this month at Anything But a Card is ORANGE! which makes a change from Halloween!

I thought I would share one of the tags we made recently at the Mixed Media Workshop here in Shetland.  Our theme for the weekend was the four seasons and so this was the Autumn tag.

The girls wanted to do some sewing on a tag and also make these string flowers (tutorial on my side bar).

We used Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey Distress Inks for the background and for dying the ribbon and muslin leaves.  A super combination of colours for this month.

I hope you will join us in our challenge this month as the theme is a wonderful opportunity to use some Autumnul craft supplies.  Click the link HERE for the challenge blog and some fabulous DT inspirational pieces.

Just a short post from me today as yesterday I returned from a wonderful week seeing my newborn grandaughter and two year old grandson.  I am pretty shattered!  Today I am packing as tomorrow morning I am off to Rome for a week - it is certainly all go!

See you all soon! x

Love the oranges on the tag (colours that is, not fruit lol) with a fabulous background and finished beautifully with those flowers. Glad you had a great time with the grandchildren, now have a wonderful week in Rome.

Now that's an orange I can get on board with - a beautiful glowing honey tone. The stamping on the dressform looks wonderful!
