CC3 Challenge is BACK!

yay! here we are again with a Compendium of Curiosities Challenge. Well done Linda and the fabulous team, the Curiosity Crew! I learnt so much during Challenges 1 and 2, I can't wait to get stuck into Tim's new book.

The challenge? a different technique every two weeks from Tim's new book A Compendium of Curiosities Volume III. What could be better than trying out all these wonderful techniques. So to the first challenge - Paint Marbling the details of which you can find on page 43 (we don't share the details out of fairness to Tim - you just need to buy the book !).

Now don't faint - this is a single layer tag from me and NO Flowers!

When I tried this technique on Creative Chemistry 102 I just could not get it to work, but I am really pleased with my marbling on this tag.  I used Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire Distress Paints and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink to complete the technique.  No idea where the bit of green came from though!

I just loved it and I really didn't want to hide any of it - so I over stamped with the awesome Dragonfly Stamp and a Stuff to Say stamp, used the Lattice Work Mask and a Remnant Rub.

If you want to join the challenge just hop over HERE to get all the details. And there are some wonderful prizes from Tim and Mario and Inspiration Emporium.

Thanks for joining me here today I really appreciate it and I really do hope you will give this a go!

Jennie x

PS I was going to use Broken China Distress Paint but whilst shaking the bottle the top came off and I became the piece of art!

Beautiful tag Jennie.
Altering yourself might be considered as a little extreme but your not alone, I'm one of the messiest crafters I know, I'm always getting covered in paint and inks. :-)

This is so Stunning Jennie. Really is a piece of Art. I knocked over a box of diamonte gems yesterday and it took me 40 minutes to get them lifted and sorted out. Have a Good Day. Hugs Rita xxxx

Wow, this is really lovely - that pop of colour running into the blues really appeals to me. Loved the enamel dot "bulleted" wording as well.
Gorgeous marbling, Jennie - the colours are really stunning, and I'm so glad you didn't cover any of it up!! Fabulous stamping too... love this!
