The Final Tag of 2014

I have finally found some time to play and create Tim's final tag of the year - however it has been SO dark today I have struggled to get any good photographs.

As usual I won't go into the details of how the tag is made but you can click the link HERE to go to Tim's blog where you can find details of all the techniques used.

Despite not having most of the individual elements I did try and follow the techniques.

I used Distress Spray Stains on my tag (Faded Jeans and Brushed Pewter. I didn't have any of the film, so I embossed some of the Frosted Film and layered this over the top of the tag. The embossing looks more detailed in real life.

No reindeer ! so I used the skates instead and gave them some glitter with Antiquities Frosted Crystal. The leaves and flowers were from the Spring Greenery and Tattered Flower Garland sprayed with Peeled Paint and Brushed Pewter Spray Stains.

I love the way the Brushed Pewter Spray Stain makes the ribbon very crinkly and subtly coloured.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the twelve tags this year and have learnt so much about using Tim and Ranger products. Many times I don't have the right products but it is all about improvising and using what you have.

I have been very lucky to have won twice! and also to have had seven of my tags pinned by Tim on his Pinterest Sissix Board. Looking forward to the next twelve Tim!

Thanks for joining me today.

Beautiful! I like the silvery green of the leaves, and I like that it is not an exact copy if Tim's tag.

This is so lovely Jennie, those skates are gorgeous, especially with the ivy coming down. I finally own this die too, and can't wait to play with it next year. Thanks for the inspiration xx
Perfect, Jennie - those ivy decorated skates are completely enchanting. A lovely finale. Have a wonderful 2015!

You are always showing me new ways to use the greenery and tattered florals dies.
I don't have all the paints and stains but I always get inspired when I see your creations,
