Crafting with Kraft

It is the first day of April ……. (yikes!) and there is no fooling around here! Today we are off on another challenge over at Country View Challenges and Sue our host for this month has challenged us to use Kraft Card.  I recently taught a beginner's scrapbook workshop here in Shetland and based one of my layouts on Kraft cardstock.

This is a clean and simple layout using some scraps of paper stock, hessian and of course a 12 x 12 piece of Kraft cardstock. I find Kraft cardstock extremely versatile, working well for vintage as well as modern layouts.

I particularly like using blue with Kraft and these Maja Design scraps were just perfect. A white scrunched flower and leaf ties everything together.

While the class were sticking everything down I decided to do try a different design - the same elements but quite a different layout.

I do hope you will join us in our challenge at CVC this month and do hop on over today for some great inspiration from the team. And watch out through the month for more projects using Kraft.

Have fun and thank you for joining me today.

Gorgeous layouts Jennie! So simple yet so stunning!
Really love your patchwork panel designs, Jennie - such a great way to create texture and interest on a page. The papers are lovely, and I love the frayed hessian. Fabulous krafty layouts.
