Vintage Photo Hues

Hello to Everyone on this lovely Easter Day!

It was tidy up time yesterday in the Craft Room and my poor sad little Vintage Photo Distress Ink Pad was finally sitting there waiting to be put away. This was my very first Distress Ink Pad and I have had it for years! It is like an old friend …… So I thought I would give him a little outing on his own and enter a couple of challenges at the same time.

The background was stamped off first to give a lighter finish and a watery version gives lovely splatters.

Vintage Photo has been my "go to" ink for my handmade flowers and stamped sentiments and of course butterflies.

It dies ribbon perfectly! and perfect for Frilly and Funkie's current challenge which is Put A Ribbon On It!

I also love painting with Distress Inks and this gorgeous Artistic Stamper Botanical flower is just perfect. And again perfect for the Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog April challenge which is Flora and Fauna.

So there you have it - Vintage Photo hues!
an entry for two of my favourite challenges and another card for the birthday box!

Wishing everyone a very happy Easter Day x

Jennie

So gorgeous in a quiet and subtle way. I do not usually like Vintage Photo, too orangey and rusty for me, but you have used it so beautifully here. Anyone would love to receive this card.
I could see this for sale in the Botanical Gardens Jennie, so beautiful.

It's interesting Jennie as Vintage Photo was the first Distress Ink I ever bought and it still gets pulled out frequently. Your art is subtle and beautiful today!
Beautiful card and what a great idea of a birthday box xx
