The Countdown Begins ....

The first of December and (woo hoo) we start the countdown to Christmas Day along with a new challenge over at Country View Challenges which is

CHRISTMAS!

And so what better project to share with you today than my Advent Clock!

I bought this Tando Creative kit whilst at one of the Mixology workshops earlier this year and have thankfully managed to complete it in time!

The kit got a coat of DecoArt Primary Magenta Fluid Acrylic and then it was about hunting down relevant papers. Most came from Tim's Christmas stacks Merriment and Yuletide - loads of little scraps left over from other projects.

I used some of the embellishments in the kit but just had to add a few flowers!

I did use one special piece of cardstock for the middle - a map of the Arctic Circle and Santa land!

This was great fun to make and I hope will be much enjoyed by my two special grandchildren over the next few years.

I do hope you will find time to join us in our challenge this month despite all the Christmas preparations. Do hop on over to Country View Challenges for some fabulous inspirational pieces from the rest of the DT and of course all the details of the challenge.

Thank you for joining me today!
