Emboss It !

 Eileen Hull's Creative Team are this month dusting off our embossing folders. 

Earlier this month I shared this small booklet the cover of which was made from embossed vinyl wallpaper! See the link to the YouTube video at the end of this post for the tutorial.

Today I am sharing some of the stitched collages inside the book zooming in on the detail so you can see how it was created.

I have used a couple of small doilies and some fabric washi tape and stitched the pieces together before adhering them into the book.

Leftover embossed card was used to create the little tags and a folded over paper tag doubled up the paper thickness making it easier to stitch.

The purpose of this book was to be creative, trying out some new ideas but small scale so if it didn't work nothing was lost!
