More Christmas Wishes........

I seem to be a bit hooked on hangings at the moment! After the fun of last week's subtle snowflake hanging I decided to go all Christmassy with this one!

We are into the final run of this month's challenge at Crafts Too Challenge You - the main theme still being a Vintage Christmas but Twist 2 is looking for lots of colours, at least three and hopefully more!

I embossed a tag with a Crafts Too Embossing Folder (the one I used for the card in week 1 of the challenge) and carefully inked around the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.  I made a little effort to mask the middle section before doing a spritz and flick with water and then spraying here and there with Perfect Pearls Biscotti spray.  It does glint nicely but as these photographs were taken with a couple of inches of snow on the ground outside it was a little dark to show such detail!

After decorating with my usual embellishments plus seed heads from a cheap Christmas decoration, I again mounted the tag on a piece of corrugated card, painted white, distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then liberally covered (here and there) with Rock Candy Distress Crackle.

I hope you will find time to join us in our challenge at C2CU. There have been some lovely and very different Design Team pieces these last four weeks which should give you some inspiration for Christmas projects if you are needing some!!

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely weekend x

Love, love, love this one, Jennie! What beautiful, delicate neutral tones and then those traditional red & green accents to make it sing... completely lovely. And corrugated card too. What more could a woman want?!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend.
