And At the Last Minute ……..

Talk about last minute! My entry for the third challenge at Compendium of Curiosities III - phew! I couldn't miss this one as it was the Tattered Tea Roses! but everything has gone against me this week (and a major crisis tonight which nearly scuppered my husband from sailing to Faroe tomorrow morning).

This is just about the quickest tag I have ever done!

Details of the challenge can be found HERE and of course the tutorial for the roses can be found on page 65 of Vol III of A Compendium of Curiosities.

So a few details:

Wrinkle free distress using Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Milled Lavender and Victorian Velvet and a little overstamping with Milled Lavender.

The Ornate Frame (which arrived yesterday) splodged with Picket Fence Distress Paint.

The Tattered Tea Roses of course made from papers from the French Industrial Stack and edged with Dusty Concord DI.

And finally the usual scrim, muslin, stamped butterfly and that wonderful Classic Quote (one of my AFTH purchases).

Hopefully life will return to normal from tomorrow and I can start visiting you all and catching up on commenting! The boat is now packed to the gunnels for the next eight weeks and Terry sails tomorrow for Faroe - I will join him on the west coast of Scotland in a couple of weeks time. So some time to play and enjoy the garden.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

You always do flowers so well so this tag was bound to be a winner. Love the idea of inking the Industrial papers with Dusty Concord. Looks perfect. Jenny x
