The Sea Beckons

Just a quick post to let you all know that things will be a little quiet around here for the next six weeks as tomorrow I fly to Inverness and after a long bus ride, join Terry and Mrs Muir (the boat) in Lochinver. We hope to sail south of Skye and see the islands of Jura and Islay and perhaps even a little further south - it all depends on the weather and of course we have to sail all the way home again too!

I have packed a few things to keep me busy.

A Journal I made recently.

And to complete the journal:
a pile of scraps

And my 12 x 12 box which fits in the locker above my bunk!

There will be a few scheduled posts and I really appreciate your comments.  I hope to be able to get Wifi occasionally and catch up with you all.

Have a fabulous summer all my lovely friends
and see you all in August!

Jennie x

Wow Jennie! That sounds wonderful! I haven't got very good sea legs, so not sure how I'd cope on a 'real' boat, but that sounds like a brilliant way to spend the summer. Have a fantastic time soaking up all the beautiful things you'll see wishing you a safe and happy journey, looking forward to seeing your journal ! Toni xx

Sounds ideal Jennie. Watch out for the Corrivreckan too. Say hello from me when in Islay and Jura. Arran is Scotland in miniature and has great places to hitch up your boat. See you soon. Hugs Rita xxx
