Simply Scenic

The first day of May !!! this year just seems to be romping along and my second post of today …… It is also time for a new challenge at Country View Challenges and we have a fabulous theme this month

Simply Scenic

So time to dust off those lovely scenic stamps you might have or think about a scrapbook or journal page for a lovely photograph.

I decided to make a journal page using this photograph I took of the Eiffel Tower a few years ago. It is quite a small photograph so much more suited to a journal page.

I started by layering some French tissue tape on my page and then using Texture Paste through a stencil. Using white gesso over the whole page then allowed me to stamp, ink and splatter the page with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Finally I made a little collage underneath the photograph of a number of Paris themed pieces and gave the page a splattering of Picket Fence Distress Stain before placing my photograph. A lovely memory of a fabulous weekend.

I do hope you will join us for this month's challenge. Hop on over to the blog for today's posting as you could not fail to be inspired by the team's scenic projects. Also look out for more projects from the team during the month.

Au Revoir!
