Christmas Star
First of all a huge thank you to you all for visiting and leaving comments over the last week and an equally huge welcome to new followers - thank you for joining me on this crafty journey.
The December Challenge at Anything But A Card is well under way and for our "Celestial" theme I am sharing a small Christmas Star.
The word 'celestial' for me speaks of stars (my husband often navigates at sea using the stars and the night sky) and so I have interpreted the theme by decorating this small raffia star in my favourite Christmas colours this year - blue and white.
And unusually for me it includes GLITTER !! Needless to say I got into a heck of a mess with it, but it does look rather nice so I may persevere!
Do hop on over to our challenge blog as over the last three weeks my fellow DT members have made some amazing celestial pieces - strange how the word speaks to us in so many different ways! And of course I hope you might find time to join us in our challenge.
Thank you for joining me today and enjoy the rest of the weekend - if you can and are not up to the eyes in presents, turkeys and food!
Life has been a little challenging this last week. Fierce storms (lightning, rain and wind) have left us without wifi and TV (now reconnected) and also stranding us on Mainland Scotland last week. Hopefully things will be getting back to normal very soon!!
