Santa's Vintage Journey

An extra post for A Vintage Journey today as the Design Team have been playing a Secret Santa and we have decided to reveal the gift we made and the gift we received as part of a blog hop. So I hope you are ready to do the hopping and be inspired!

So first up is the gift I made - which was for Annie of Curious n Crafty Treasures. I very much enjoyed a couple of crafting days with Annie and her Mum, Rita, last September and I could not ignore the fact that Annie likes candles. So I decided to make this little candle book box using Tim's Merriment Paper Stack.

Here is the cover ……

and a bit more detail …

and the inside with the six
Christmas T-lights (Mulled Wine).

And here is the fabulous gift I received from Jenny (Buttons) of Pushing the Right Buttons.

Isn't this book cover just stunning! and so personal to me with all those wonderful details.

I keep looking at it and seeing more!

and not forgetting the back!

A wonderful memento for me to take on my travels and record my wonderful dream moments. Thank you Jenny for such a wonderful present - it will be treasured.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and will take part in the blog hop as there will be some amazing gifts to inspire you and as we have a Give-Away - yay!!!!

What you have to do:

1. Visit all the blogs of the Creative Guides and leave them a comment.

2. Go back to A Vintage Journey HERE and leave a link up on the Linky to a post on your blog where you have mentioned our Give-Away and linked it back to A Vintage Journey. This might be a new post just with the Give-Away information in it or you could include it in a post you are writing for something else - just as if you were entering a challenge.

Looking forward to seeing you on the hop as I can't wait to check my DT teamies presents - it really has been a Secret!

Thank you for joining me today.

Jennie x

Here are the measurements for the book cover and the box for the candles if you should want to have a go:
