Grungy Monday 18

Well .... we've had a great six weeks away cruising Orkney, the West Coast of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides on our yacht Mrs Muir.  Our world became 30 ft long and powered by the wind, so it seems extremely strange to be back in our (rather large) house!  But great to be crafting again, although I did keep a journal while I was away.

We only returned home on Friday, so my tag for Grungy Monday has been made whilst washing and ironing piles of clothes and dealing with six weeks worth of mail (nightmare!).  Inspiration is a bit lacking - it is amazing how you forget what you have and what you used to do!  But it is great to be back doing the Grungy Monday challenge - I have really missed it - and also seeing all your lovely work.

Linda at Studio L3 took us back to Christmas 2009 with some wonderful techniques for this challenge, including using vellum and my favourite inking and spritzing techniques.  Click the link here to see Tim's tutorial for the tag.  Click the link to Studio L3 to see some amazing takes on Tim's Tag by Inge and Judy and also Linda.

Thanks Linda for a great challenge!

Wonderful photos of Scotland. I am so jealous. Is one of the photos anywhere near Plockton?

Your tag is lovely. Those sewing die and stamps are brilliant.
