Halloween Damsel

It is nearly the end of the month and Halloween is approaching fast and here is another make for Country View Crafts with my non-existent Halloween stash!

I thought the Tim Holtz dress form die would make a super tattered Halloween Damsel, so I died some muslin and lace with Dylusions Sweetened Orange spray (and yes my hands were this colour for days! it never occurs to me to put a pair of gloves on!).

The top of her dress is embossed and inked with some black ink and I found these two grungepaper wings in a box at the bottom of a drawer so treated them to some more of the ink and a bit of crackle glaze.

The rest of the tag is decorated in bits and pieces which fitted the theme.

Amazing what you find lurking in drawers!

You still have a few days left to join us in our Something Spooky challenge at Country View Crafts.  Do pop over and view some of the wonderful DT and Guest Designer pieces which have been showcased through the month - so many different types of projects and some fabulous inspiration.

Thanks for visiting x

I seem to have ended up way behind yet again, but this was so worth catching up with... I adore that fairytale gauzy skirt, and the little crooked houses at the centre. Brilliant, brilliant tag, Jennie!
