A Vintage Christmas

First of all a great welcome to everyone - it is great to have you visiting, but especially to those of you who are new followers.  I really appreciate your visits and comments.

And here we are - another month and another new challenge at Crafts-Too Challenge You!!  This month our main theme is "A Vintage Christmas" but for the first two weeks of the challenge we are focusing on monochromatic projects.

I love combining sepia browns and creams and used this gorgeous Crafts Too Embossing Folder directly onto my card (it fits a 5 x 7 card beautifully).  I managed to carefully and reasonably cleanly cut out the oval in the centre and this made a great focal point for this lovely vintage image.

I have kept my card quite simple just adding some handmade flowers, ribbon and gems and a Christmas sentiment.

I hope you will join us in our challenge this month. Click the link HERE to catch up with some fabulous pieces from the rest of the Design Team and the full details of the challenge.

Have a great weekend!

I adore the way you've really used the embossing as a focal point. The pearls and flowers are perfect accompaniments. Jenny x

So subtle and so beautiful - the image and the embossing are lovely, and the flowers are, of course, stunning as ever!
