Time for a Holiday …….
… the latest challenge at Frilly and Funkie and us tomorrow as we head off to Ireland for our mid-winter music fix!
The bags, music and concertinas are packed and everything ready for the off tomorrow morning at 5.30 am and we are both looking forward to a great week of music and meeting up with old friends.
I couldn't find anything Irish in my stash so I had to make do with making a vintage beach holiday postcard for the challenge. I should have been tidying up but you know how you just have to keep creating!
This Stampin Up postcard stamp is a good size being nearly 6" x 4" and popular in my workshops. I have used gesso, paste and Vintage Photo Distress Ink for a vintage look.
And at long last a chance to use these lovely Artistic Outpost stamps I got from a Facebook friend who was having a declutter. The shell looks almost real! Shame about the splatter on the nose!
Do hop on over to Frilly and Funkie as there are some fabulous DT pieces which really warm the heart with summer sun. Ireland is likely to be wet and cold so my beach holiday will have to wait until later in the year!
