It is the journey that matters

Today I am sharing my last Design Team project for Anything But a Card Challenge. The team is truly international and covers a wide range of different mediums and I have made a lot of lovely friends and shared some lovely techniques and ideas with the team over the two years I have been a member, but the time feels right to move on.

Our challenge this month is Fools Gold and I have gone back to basics and got out my gold embossing powder. It never fails to amuse me that I still get a kick out of watching the powder turn gold!

The embossing powder has always worked well this lovely music stamp and I realise I have not used this in a while either!

I love the way you can overheat the powder and get some lovely texture.

A beautiful sentiment and sums up the wonderful journey I have had with Susan and the ABAC team.

Thank you for joining me today and I hope you might find time to join the ABAC challenge - you have one more week until the challenge closes.

Thank you for joining me today!

Hehe I completely relate to the watching of some embossing powders turn, it's wonderful science!

This gorgeous, black and gold is always so eye catching, and the sentiment is perfect for your last post.

Gorgeous Jennie! I love the idea of gold embossing! It's so elegant and adds so much interest, especially against the black. I should really pull mine out and use it more often! Just stunning, hugs :)

Crafters seem to be universal in their love of seeing the EP change. I really love the music stamping, it looks beautiful and your embellishments are wonderful. Hugs, Anne x
Love the elegant black and gold, and those glorious flowers. They will certainly miss you at ABAC, but I'm sure lots of lovely new adventures lie ahead.
