More Colour Play!

You know how it is .....
set yourself an hour to tidy up the craft table and end up making a journal page!

It seemed a shame not to use the colourful Kohinoor Watercolours before they get put away for another period of hibernation, so I had a real splashing time getting as much colour as I could on my page.

It really is great to just go with it and see what happens - after all if it didn't work it didn't matter!

I was quite pleased with the effect once it got a little texture paste and stamping.

Embellished with more pieces lying around the table -
a form of clearing up .... !!!

This was a good heavyweight piece of watercolour paper and it took the paints and water well.

I shall be back to normal by the time the next
project comes around !

As I had so much fun sploshing the watercolours I thought this would make a good entry for the current Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp which is Splash it On!

Now to tidy the desk ..........

fantastic use of colour! Jennie. I'm with you on the 'just going for and with it'- been doing some of that myself recently and found it so liberating. (the results have yet to be aired lol).
This really is a terrific page .
