Edwardian Folio

Hello and welcome to another wrap around folio design using Eileen Hull's Notebook Die.

I really enjoy the experimentation of cutting different elements of Eileen's book dies to make a wrap round.

This time I have made the folio using cardstock as the base rather than board. It feels a little flimsy at the beginning but once you add pockets and flaps it becomes quite sturdy.

I wanted to make a journal using the new Vintage Engravings along with the new Backdrop and Kraft papers from Tim Holtz.

They seemed to match the Backdrop papers so well and I had a lovely afternoon painting them using Distress Crayons.

As you can see there are plenty of pockets and flaps and although the Backdrop papers are 10 x 6 they are the perfect size for this little folio.

I have a step by step tutorial video on my Youtube channel which details how I made the folio along with all the cutting and scoring sizes for the individual pockets and flaps.

I have not joined in a challenge for ages, so am joining in with this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which is Feminine.

As always thank you for joining me.
