Colours of Spring for Eileen Hull Designs

 

Hello and welcome! 

I hope the weather is Springlike beside you as it is here. It has been lovely these last few weeks seeing first the tiny crocus plants and then daffodils and tulips colouring the garden.

Which fits in very nicely with our theme this month with Eileen - the teams all creating around the theme of Colours of Spring.

I have made this small 4" x 4" chunky book using the two "lids" from the Storage Box and the spines from the Mini Book - both of which were released last month. If you were watching the "live" of the team's projects you will have seen me share this. Today I am sharing how it has been made.

First a few photos of the inside:

There are lots of pockets and tuck spots for little tags and envelopes.

I have used some lovely violet stamps designed by Alison Bomber for PaperArtsy (details below)

 Along with some digital papers and scraps and embellishments from 49&Market left over from recent projects.

I really enjoyed creating all the little collages in this small space.

I have a video on YouTube which starts with a walkthrough of the little book and then there is a short tutorial showing how I made the covers and the flap out book in centre.
