Favourite Projects for 2025 : for Eileen Hull Designs

Hello Everyone and my apologies that my blog is not somewhere I am very often these days! most of my work seems to go out on YouTube as I find it easier to video what I do rather than take photographs.

As we are coming to the end of the year it is time so share our three favourite projects for this last year and as always it is very difficult to pin it down to three...... but given my love of mini books it had to be these three little beauties.

First up is the concertina tag book which I made back in March and you can click the link below for the blog post and also the YouTube video. The tutorial also covers the little rosebud flowers that are on the front cover which are very easy and fun to make.

My next project was made for our Emboss It theme in July. I had great fun using one of Eileen's 3D Embossing Folders on Vinyl Wallpaper. It looked good both sides! but I went for a Distress Ink look on the reverse side to match the vintage colours inside.

The YouTube video explains how the embossing was achieved and how each page was collaged with stamps and small pieces of ephemera.

Finally I am sharing another small flip out journal which can either standalone or be inserted into a journal. It was all made using Eileen's Thinlits Dies from various different sets and also from scraps of brown/cream paper and left over bits and pieces from a 49&Market journal I had been making.

I hope you enjoy these flash backs to earlier in the year and that they may provide some inspiration for journals and mini books you might be making.

As usual thank you for joining me and my very best wishes for a happy, peaceful and crafting Christmas.
