Compendium of Curiosities II : Marbled Stains

The lovely Linda over at Studio L3 has chosen Marbled Stains for Challenge No. 3.  This weekly challenge posted every Friday by Linda celebrates the techniques and products of Tim Holtz's book Compendium of Curiosities Volume II.

I cannot share the technique with you but you will find the details on page 46 of the book.  I have been getting to grips with this technique since doing Tim's online Creative Chemistry course but it does seem to work better on my white tags rather than the buff ones.  I would really encourage you to click the link and have a look at the wonderful card made by Linda and the other fantastic entries in this challenge.

Yet again I have used the Broken China/Dusty Concord combination.  I really must get going with my life and move away to some other wonderful combination!  I have kept the card quite flat in order to lesson the cost of postage and apart from the tag the rest is made from small pieces from my (wildly overflowing) bits and pieces box.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day.

Hi Jennie. Thanks for your comment. Its great when you feel excited by the blog. I expect I'll get back into it but I don't seem to do anything different these days.
Your flowers are looking beautiful as always.

I love the color combo, Jennie! Why move away from it? Great adaptation of the challenge.

Jennie, this is brilliant! I absolutely love the color combo, and the design is so elegant. The contrast of the geometric pieces with the curves of the doily and flower is great!

You've totally inspired me. Thank you!!!
