The One Piece Vintage Mini Book and Scraps!

The mini book cut from one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock is pretty well known, but Tim Holtz has a super video HERE for making it with slightly sturdier covers than usual (Valentine Mini Book).

Paulien of Swirlydoos then took this design and made a lovely vintage mini book for one of her card challenges while I was away.  I just love Paulien's vintage style, so just had to have a go myself - and it was really quick to put together.  See her picture tutorial HERE for some lovely ideas.

I used a piece of rather nice patterned paper by Fancy Pants to make my book, but everything else is from my scrap box - things cut for other projects, bits of mis-stamping, loads of inky bits and pieces from my workshops and some Crafty Individuals mini-pics.  Add a few flowers, pearls and of course some butterflies ..................

This was such alot of fun to make and I have made a little (very little!) dent in my scrap box.  I think it would also make a lovely birthday card for someone special.

I hope you give it a go.
