Leafy Layouts ..........

A quick post to share the layout we made at Shetland Scrapbookers on Saturday.  Julie was hosting this meeting and we used alcohol inks to colour acetate leaves.  Great fun especially as many of the members had not used alcohol inks before.

We also stamped a frame around our photograph using post it notes - again to lots of "ahhh!"

As usual lots of talking and laughter and this month eating of hot cross buns, so stamps go down squint and bits get stuck in the wrong place, so not always the best of work, but always alot of fun, especially as we only have a three hour session!

Did you notice that this is another green project - I am sticking to my resolution to do more green!

I see there are lots of lovely blog posts which I need to visit so my apologies for not getting around to visit you.  It has been a busy few days singing in Church, but the voice can now be rested and no minor panics of things I need to learn.  The weather has also been amazing - this is now day 10 of blue skies and sunshine and light winds, so I have been trying to tidy up the garden as well.   It is still cold, but very enjoyable - I just hope it is not our summer!

I hope you are all enjoying the Easter weekend wherever you are.

Two beautiful photos. I love the stamped frame around your layout photo. It looks like lattice work and very apt for flowers. The alcohol inked leaves are great. have a lovely week. Cheers, Di
Lovely layout, and the leaves look luscious (okay, enough with the alliteration!)... Fully approve of your green resolution and the results are gorgeous!

Good to hear you're getting some sunshine Jennie, it seems to have brightened up here now too. Just wish it would get a bit warmer.
