Time Flies for A Vintage Journey
Time for another challenge at A Vintage Journey - my how time flies! And most appropriately the theme of our new challenge:
Time Flies
We would love to see your interpretation of how quickly
time passes or the passing of time using either
Tim's products (stamps, dies, ideology,
etc.) and/or some of his techniques.
For me the one thing that marks the passing of time has been watching my little grandson growing from a toddler to a lively, chattering, full of life little boy over the last two years and decided a scrapbook tag would show this well.
I forgot to take a picture of the background before I started embellishing the tag, but you can just about see that I used the Clocks Embossing Folder to create the texture and blended Evergreen Bough and Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks over the top, spritzing with water to blend it all together. As the embossing folder doesn't fill the tag I used the pediments die top and bottom to make it look more complete.
The cogs were cut in Grungepaper and painted with Honey Amber Silks before embossing and edging with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. The clock stamp from the Curiosities stamp set just sits perfectly in the middle sized cog.
Finally my sentiment using the new Sissix Framelits Die Set - those little ones are going to become a favourite!
I do hope you will join in with us for this challenge - there have been some absolutely fabulous entries over these last few months and even if you don't join in do have a look at the DT projects and entries for some great inspiration for those Tim stamps, products and techniques.
Looking forward to seeing what you create.

I am visiting from the lovely Marjie's Blog.
I can see why Marjie wanted to feature your tag as it is wonderful in its dimension.
