Sharing My Favourite Food!

The latest Anything Goes challenge at Anything But a Card is well under way and as our theme at Shetland Scrapbookers last month was "Favourite Food" I thought I would share the layout I made.

I could eat Feta and Watercress Salad all day every day - I never tire of it. Add some sweet little tomatoes and peppers and it makes a perfect lunch alongside some smoked salmon or for dinner in the evening with some poached chicken.

I used lots of Tim Holtz bits and pieces in this layout (I seem to be having a bit of a scraps fest at the moment!).

I kept the background simple and made these little flowers from the Stampin Up Petite Petals punch. A number of you have asked how I make these so here are the steps:

Punch the petals - here I have used cream cardstock as I wanted to ink the petals, but in the layout above I punched them from Co'redinations Cardstock.

Turn the flowers over and use a ball tool to outline the edges of each petal.

Turn the petals back again and use the ball tall to make an indentation in the centre. This just seems to make the petal come to life!

Such a simple little flower and great for layering over the Garden Greens die cut.

Thank you for visiting today and do hop on over to Anything But A Card as there are some amazing inspirational pieces from my fellow team mates.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Love your scrapbook page Jennie. So colourful and full of interest too. Love those sweet little flowers, but not managed to make any yet, too busy with Christmas cards. Hope this finds you well and that your weather is not to bad. Enjoy your Day. Hugs Rita xxx
