Precious Memories
A huge welcome to everyone today and particularly new followers - great to have you along for this fabulous journey!
My mother is always in my thoughts and particularly this week as it was her anniversary - 18 years seems a long time ago and the last time I had a special hug.
This little photograph of me and my Mum is stuck in an old photograph album but with my new photographic skills (!) I managed to take a photograph of the photograph. It is a little grainy but still very special.
I rather indulged myself with all my favourite colours and embellishments, but I think my Mum would have loved them all too.
If only we could turn back time ………
I would like to enter this layout in the latest Frilly and Funkie Challenge which is:
I always use the sewing machine to stitch my cardstock layers together - around the edges and in various places across the middle - although it is difficult to see it in the photographs as I have used white thread on the white cardstock.
And there is a little timepiece tucked into the photograph!
Thank you for joining me today and enjoy the rest of this lovely weekend.

such a very sweet and gorgeous layout.
I would like to see my dad in real again too..he died very suddenly in 1997 ... ..so wished I could talk with him again..also with my grandmother what she thinks about how we live our lives..
I often dream of my dad and in my dreams he is really there..and it feels so normal that he is there...when I wake up I always think why didn't I ask him things...
Sending you my best wishes and I hope your health is improving too

I can say with certainty that your mother would adore your beautiful page, as do I! The soft tones, gorgeous handmade flowers, and special touches are the perfect backdrop for the lovely photo of you and your mom. Having just lost my own sweet mom, I am crying as I read your post. Nobody can ever take the place of our beloved mothers, and our hearts will yearn for them until the day when we are together again. Thank you for sharing this with us at the Frilly and Funkie Challenge!
Sending love and hugs across the miles!
