Things With Wings

Well it is the start of another challenge over at A Vintage Journey and the wonderfully creative Anne is our host this month and she has chosen what I am sure will be a very popular theme:

THINGS WITH WINGS

Tim has designed the most wonderful butterfly, dragonfly and bird stamps, dies and papers, so we would love to see your projects using one (or more if you wish) butterfly, dragonfly or bird. 

Just  make sure Tim's style is evident in what you make.

I decided to make a trio of ATCs using the wonderful butterfly stamp from the Papillon Stamp Set.

The backgrounds were first prepped with tissue tape and then Texture Paste added through the Harlquinn Layering Stencil before being covered with a layer of gesso.

When the gesso had dried I sprayed with Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Spray Stain and then added some splatters of both inks together with Vintage Photo. The little stamps from the Correspondence set are just the perfect size for ATCs.

Each butterfly was stamped with the same inks and then placed on top of a small collage.

Again the large Chit Chat stickers are just perfect for ATCs.

Finally I added a further accent with pearl buttons which I covered in gesso and a little Honey Amber Luminarte Silks.
