Echoes in my heart

Another month in this already fast flowing year!
January is already an echo in my heart ....

We have a brand new challenge starting over at Country View Challenges and Sue has presented us with a Time Challenge - create a piece of art or a project in just 30 minutes!

Sadly this will be my last creative project for Country View Challenges as I have decided that the time is right to move on. I have been a member of the team for nearly four years (I joined when CVC was just three months old) and I have enjoyed every minute working alongside some amazingly creative people. But I feel I need space and time to stretch myself and experiment with all the wonderful new products that call to me, along with a desire to extend my flower making.  So I will still be around!

I really love making ATCs and regularly swap them with a small but lovely group of crafters. I love them because they really make you think about your techniques and design given the minimal space available, but it is a lovely opportunity to try out new ideas.

As this one was up against the clock I decided to do some tearing! First some old French book paper with a little stamping with some of my favourite stamps and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

More tearing - this time tissue tape and more stamping, this time with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I then had time to cut out this whimsical vintage girl, along with a butterfly.  The stamp was in my stash box .....

.... along with some printed sentiments and of course the all important pearly button!

So there's my 30 minutes of crafting!

There is no excuse for not joining us in our challenge this month! Just find an enjoyable 30 minutes and create a piece of art or a small project and share it with us.

For some great inspiration do hop on over to the challenge post to see what my fellow Design Team members have created and of course you will find all the details of the challenge.

I will be back later in the month with a round up of some of my favourite pieces from my time at Country View Challenges.

Have a great week!
