Back to Nature for A Vintage Journey
Hello and welcome! It's time for another new challenge at A Vintage Journey and we are all going
My fellow Creative Guides at A Vintage Journey have created some fabulous inspiration around this challenge theme, so do hop on over HERE to catch up with all their wonderful makes.
BACK TO NATURE
This month we are asking you to celebrate natural elements in your project. Think real nature in terms of twigs, dried flowers, shells or pebbles, or perhaps stamps and stencils depicting these wonderful elements.
Immerse yourself in the colours of the seasons whether they be bright or muted and
create a project in our preferred styles of vintage, shabby, mixed media, art journaling,
industrial, timeworn or steampunk.
I am the host for this month's challenge and have had great fun creating my project from three pieces of wood I found in my husband's wood store. I have teamed them with coffee stained textiles and painted metal embellishments and made a hanging using some very thin wire so it looks as though the wood pieces are floating.
There are no details to share with you at this time as I will be back later in the month at A Vintage Journey sharing a tutorial of how it was made.
But in the meantime here are some photographs to whet your appetite!

PS I originally wanted to use the piece of driftwood I used as a prop in my photos--so happy I didn't! I have a feeling it's going to turn into something Halloweeny!

Looking forward to your tutorial
