Sizzix/Eileen Hull Chapter 1 Release Party and Blog hop

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Chapter 1 Eileen Hull/Sizzix Release Party Blog Hop! I am just loving the new ScoreBoards Folio Journal die along with the Mandala and Folio Page, Pockets and Flower Thinlits dies that coordinate with it.

I have loads of photographs and a walk through video to share with you but first of all please hop through the blogs and be inspired by the work of the talented Inspiration and Educator teams. Leave a comment for each designer and you could win a Folio Journal die!

You can also join me (yes me!) along with Eileen and other members of the team for a Facebook Live on Wednesday Feb 3 at 5pm GMT (noon Eastern). There's a chance to comment on the Facebook Live and have the chance to win either the Mandala die or the Folio Pages, Pockets and Flowers die - two winners!

We appreciate your love and support! so start hopping now!

Today I am sharing my folio, but I will be back later in the month with a full tutorial but in the meantime I hope you enjoy the photographs and short walk through video.

I love the chunkiness of the resulting folio!

There are lots of options for making boxes, sleeves, covers ..... endless possibilities!

I decided to make a flip out folio on the left hand side of the book. This is the first page, a pocket with magnet closure.

I have added loads of little bands to tuck in tags and little books.

The second added page is a folded large tag ......

.... which opens out to reveal pockets and a little book inside.

The third page is another folded tag, this time lengthwise .....

.... which opens up to reveal two pages with space for tags and little books ....

..... and still further to reveal another couple of pages (I was running out of decorative papers at this point!)

The fourth page is another flap the same as the second  page but this time held down by a tag with magnets.

Again this opens up to reveal another pocket and more tags.

Stamperia Papers give so many wonderful options for decoration.

On the right hand side I made a box which houses two small books made using Eileen Hull's Passport Die (I love how everything works together!).

Well done if you are still with me! I really love this Folio die and already have lots of ideas for using it!

Thank you for joining in the hop today and be sure to look out for my post later in the month for a tutorial.

What a beautiful folio! I love the soft and delicate vintage look of it😊
Oh my - this brought tears to my eyes. I know so well my mother would have to loved to receive this. The style , the paper, fill it with a few nice pictures and notes, Unfortunately she passed away due to Covid18 2 weeks ago.The relatives live in England ans Ireland so can`t travel to germany for thefuneral. Am thinking of making a folio and send all of them empty papers asking them to write theit favourite memory of my mum onto it and include a picture of themselves with my mum. After I received all their letters I´ll make a memory album for my mum. And as soon as I can fly to Ireland where my mum was born we`ll plant a tree for her in my uncle`s field and the first leave that falls from it will also be pressed and included in that album. Thanks for giving me inspiration to find a way to keep memories of my mum alive for evrybody to look at.
