Sizzix/Eileen Hull Chapter 1 Release : Book Box

Hello and welcome to a happy release day! Eileen's 2022 Chapter 1 dies are fabulous and incredibly versatile as you will see and I am sure they will be very popular! Eileen is also excited to share them!

"I am so excited to share my Chapter 1 release with you! The dies in this collection are versatile, practical and fun to embellish.

The Phone Stand, an XL ScoreBoards die, is a MUST- you need one for every room! Make for yourself, family, friends, for gifts or to sell- the die cuts the stand in one pass and is very easy to assemble.
The Book Box can be used to make a book or a box that holds A-2 greeting cards. What a great way to package handmade cards ... or a quick and easy book!

Add the Vintage Buttons folder to create vintage backgrounds for cards, journals, pages and tags. The 3D effect is stunning when you add a little Luster Wax to bring out the highlights...

The Snail Mail Thinlits die cuts a postal pane that coordinates with two of my Snail Mail Maker Forte stamps. This die was designed to use on the front of an A-2 card! "

Today I am sharing two projects from the new release. This is the first and has been made using the Sizzix Scoreboards XL Book/Box Die #665873.

I have been making Book/Boxes for years but now I am so happy to have a die which cuts everything for me!

As we have been having a joint collaboration with Gel Press my papers have been made using the Gel Press plate and impressions and PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylics and PaperArtsy stamps by Gwen Lafleur and Scrapcosy.

As you can see it is a good size for storing small notebooks. This front one has been made using the Vintage Buttons Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #665728 - again new to this release.

And here is the open box - I can't wait with experimenting with ideas to fill it!

Some detail of the inside front cover using PaperArtsy Stamps by
Gwen and Scrapcosy (Raquel).

...... and the front of the box.

I used a combination of studs and a chain for a closure.
Below are a few details of the books inside.

There will be a video tutorial later in the month focusing on how the papers were made using the different Gel Press plates and PaperArtsy paints, along with a few details including the size of the books inside.

Until then enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop and Fun Release Day.

Hop on over to Eileen Hull Designs and you will find links to all the teams members who are taking part in the Blog Hop and some amazing inspirational makes.

And join Eileen and and the Team Live at noon EST/5pm GMT for more details of the release.

If you want to catch my second project you can find it HERE.

I used the new Phone Stand die to make a little book, again using papers created using the Gel Press plates but this time using Distress Paints and Embossing Folders.

As always thank you for joining me!
