Compendium of Curiosities Challenge 28 : Layered Fragments

Just in time ........   Linda's Compendium of Curiosities Challenge this week is Colourful Layered Fragments.  I've not done this technique before and didn't have any fillable pens for the alcohol ink .... so this is a bit of a hybrid in the sense that it was painted with alcohol inks, but with a paint brush.  I just love these stamps from Crafty Individuals - so cute!

You can find the technique on page 57 of the Tim Holtz book, but also click on the link to Linda's blog to see some fantastic ideas for this technique:

As my computer was out of action last week I didn't get to post to Challenge 27 which was Distress Misting Masks.  So here's my tag:

This is one of my favourite techniques !

Oh, Jennie, I love this! What a beautiful approach to the Fragment challenge. The little girls are SO cute, and you colored the image beautifully. The paint brush worked great! The background is just right-- soft and sweet, and the flower and lacy border and butterfly are perfect embellishments. Really fabulous job!
