Make Your Own Happiness

..... well I certainly do!

A quick post to share a simple vintage ATC which fits in fabulously with the current challenge at Artful Times.

Click the link HERE for some lovely inspirational vintage pieces from Von and Neet and also some super entries.

Experimental photography on this post as my son has been encouraging me to use my camera on Manual as photographs of my projects are always out of focus somewhere.  I think I may be getting the hang of it, but I daren't tell you how many photos I took!

I hope everyone is enjoying some warmth as it is freezing here!  Please send some sunshine this way .......

This is a delightful ATC, Jennie. Love the soft, muted earthy colours and the layering with the various textiles you have used. Beautiful image too. Thank you also for your lovely comments. I look forward to seeing your next art work. Have a great weekend. Cheers, Di

Gorgeous ATC Jennie, your blog is beautiful, so many pieces to ooh and ahh over! I saw your comment on Brendas blog so I thought I would share this with you. My friend Lindsay the Frugal Crafter has instructions to make a Hectograph (Gelli plate) I made mine last night and it is awesome! All you need are 3 ingredients, 2 of which I already had, the 3rd glycerin is going to be useful for my ink pads too so I did not feel bad buying it. You can see the tutorial on her blog here. http://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2013/05/25/a-permanent-gelatin-printing-plate-hectograph-an-annoying-project-a-birthday-card/
Good luck, ~Diane
An absolutely beautiful ATC, Jennie - with your impeccable eye for composition, and lovely textures - wonderful!

Vintage projects from you always make me happy Jennie! This is a treasure and just shows what can be done in that tiny space. I love all the different layers and I can see stitching too. Love it.
Hope you haven't resorted to your thermals quite yet. If it's any consolation, we have just put the heating on for a quick blast because it feels chilly (our version of chilly that is, not yours!).
Enjoy your Sunday.
Hugs, Juliaxxx
