Tim's April Tag

Hello and thanks for visiting today! I have finally finished my April tag - I seem to have been making it for ages! I loved the colours of Tim's springlike tag, but for some reason ended up going down the blue route!

You can find all the details of Tim's wonderful tag HERE. As usual I didn't have some of the supplies so "did my own thing"!

I really enjoyed doing the lattice work - I found a lighter colour worked better with my background and amazingly had some cork and metal pieces to use as well!

I made my flowers slightly differently and I will show these in another post. Again I needed something lighter and I couldn't get the right colours using printed papers.

It seed a shame not to use all the cork cut outs so I made a little cork medallion.

As I only have three bottles of Distress Paints (soon to be rectified!) I made my background using the Wrinkle Free technique and using Stormy Sky, Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks - I never tire of this technique!

And so there you have it!
