Celebrate Spring!!

Hello Everyone, thank you for joining me and first of all may I wish you all a happy and blessed Easter Day.

It may be Easter, but
let's hear it for Spring!

is it here yet? or did I dream it?
it is certainly taking it's time
to show itself here in the North!

I am delighted to be sharing more of Catherine Scanlon-Matthews stamps today.  These wonderful blooms are from the Edna's Flowers Clear Stamp set and aren't they beauties.

Our theme at Anything But A Card this month is Spring Forward and I thought they just fitted the theme very nicely.

I made a background ATC with Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Paints mixing Toad Hall and Snowflake to get this wonderful green.  Grunge paste was layered over the top using a script mask and then I stamped these wonderful flowers on cream card stock.  Just adding a little painting makes them look wonderfully 3D.

I do hope you will join us at ABAC for our challenge this month - as usual Anything But A Card and let us see you springing forward with your wonderful projects.

Thank you for visiting.

Stunning Jennie, love the stamp and I really like the raised text texture!
Well, here in Edinburgh, Spring seems to finally have arrived, though it's still pretty fresh, but so nice to see a bit of blue sky!

I tried to email you Ruth but no luck - so hoping you visit again! I always use Stampin Up Cardstock - Very Vanilla. It has a slight sheen on it and takes stamps and inks very nicely. It is a good weight too and tends not to buckle too easily when you want to layer it over texture. I hope that helps, but just email me if you want some more info or where you an get it from.
